Hello Monica! Thank you for the link. I am definitely interested in submitting an essay. I bet that Arthur is as excited as I am.

Of the essay choices, I think that I am most interested in the first, on the meaning of money (a passage which was to me riveting) and 2c, on the choice between intelligence and brutality.

Are you going to submit an essay?

I have contributed an essay on Francisco's "Money is the root of all evil" speech to a collection of essays on Atlas Shrugged that will be out sometime in 2006. If any of you are seriously going to write on that topic, email me and I'll send along a copy of the manuscript version. You will, of course, have to cite it appropriately, as I do believe in some intellectual property rights as well as the ethical rules of scholarly discourse. ;)

Have fun, Clyde!
I want to submit something on the first topic too. That is, IF I can finish anything presentable until the end of the month (august I mean).

Prof. Horwitz, thanks very much for that offer =)
